40% of Benicia students at Robert Semple Elementary, Mary Farmar Elementary and Liberty High School qualify for free and reduced price lunches. However, Benicia schools do not have a summer lunch program. The Benicia Library is interested in helping provide resources to food insecure families in Benicia and Food is Free Bay Area is here to help.
Join Food is Free Bay Area and Benicia Public Library in our Summer Food Program. We are raising funds to provide weekly food distributions throughout the summer at the Benicia Library. FIFBA will research, source, store, load, deliver and distribute food to participants at the library every week throughout the summer of 2024.
We need your help to feed those in our community experiencing food insecurity.
